Refund & Return Policy
This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made from Shymofy.com. We want you to be completely satisfied with your furniture purchase. If you are not, please review the following policy.
1. Return Policy
Eligibility for Returns (30-Day Policy): You can return most items within 30 days of the original delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the furniture item must be unused, unembarrassed (if applicable), in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. Please ensure that all original tags, labels, and assembly instructions are included.
Non-Returnable Items: Certain items cannot be returned. These include, but are not limited to:
Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
Customized or personalized furniture items.
Items that have been assembled, used, or modified.
Items damaged due to misuse or improper assembly by the customer.
2. How to Initiate a Return
Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team using the contact information below. You must provide your order number and the reason for the return.
Return Instructions: Our team will review your request and, if approved, will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed instructions on how to return the item, including the return shipping address. For large furniture items, we will arrange for a freight carrier pickup.
Return Shipping Costs:
If the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs.
If the return is due to a change of mind or customer preference, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, and a restocking fee (up to 15% of the item’s price) may apply.
3. Refund Policy
Processing Time: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5-7 business days of receipt.
Refund Method: If your return is approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days, depending on your bank or payment processor. The refund will include the cost of the item and any applicable taxes. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.
Partial Refunds: In certain cases, we may issue partial refunds for items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
4. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement. The new order will be subject to the standard shipping and return policies.
5. Defective or Incorrect Items
Defective Items: If you receive a furniture item that is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at support@shymofy.com or +1 (714) 774-0776. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping costs. Please provide photos of the defect or damage to assist us in processing your claim quickly.
Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that differs from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you and will cover the return shipping costs for the incorrect item.
6. Warranty Information
We stand by the quality of our products. If your purchase comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, details will be included in the product packaging or description. For any warranty-related questions, please contact our customer support team.
